There is a stage in rebuilding that feels incredibly frustrating.
You are trying again.
You are showing up.
You are doing the work.
But confidence still feels unstable.
One good day lifts you up. One difficult conversation knocks you back down.
That stage is normal.
Confidence feels fragile before it feels stable because your brain is still recalibrating. You are creating new evidence, but the old emotional memory has not faded yet.
A lot of people quit during this stage because they assume the discomfort means the process is not working.
In reality, the discomfort often means growth is happening.
You are stretching beyond old patterns. That stretch feels awkward before it feels natural.
Do not judge the rebuild too early.
The process is working even if it still feels shaky.
Keep going.
