Setbacks create judgment.
Why did I do that?
Why didn’t I know better?
What’s wrong with me?
Those questions rarely lead anywhere useful.
Curiosity works better.
What can I learn?
What would I do differently?
What does this experience have to teach me?
Judgment closes doors.
Curiosity opens them.
The people who rebuild confidence fastest aren’t necessarily smarter or tougher.
They’re more curious.
Instead of treating setbacks like evidence, they treat them like information.
That shift changes everything.
Because information can be used.
Evidence usually just gets carried around.
