One lesson I wish more people understood:
You don’t always have to believe in yourself first.
Sometimes it’s enough that someone else believes in you.
I’ve experienced that.
Mentors.
Friends.
Family.
People who saw potential in me during seasons when I couldn’t see it myself.
Their confidence became borrowed belief.
Eventually, that borrowed belief became my own.
If you’re struggling today, don’t isolate yourself.
Find people who remind you who you are when you’ve forgotten.
One encouraging conversation won’t solve every problem.
But it might give you enough confidence to take the next step.
Sometimes that’s all you need.
My work helps leaders and organizations create environments where confidence can grow, even after setbacks. Learn more at kinneyconfidence.com.
