This is one lesson I wish more people believed.
Your bank account is a number.
Your value is not.
When money gets tight, people often begin questioning everything about themselves.
They confuse financial circumstances with personal worth.
A business struggles.
“I must not be good enough.”
A layoff happens.
“I must not be valuable.”
An unexpected expense appears.
“I must be failing.”
None of those conclusions are true.
Money measures resources.
It doesn’t measure character.
It doesn’t measure resilience.
It doesn’t measure your ability to solve problems or help other people.
Protect your confidence by refusing to let temporary financial circumstances become permanent personal labels.
Your self worth deserves a better measuring stick.
